This past weekend I had the opportunity to catch up with three of my oldest friends (oldest in the sense they have know me a long time). My best friend Cathy who I met in year nine, my friend Edith who I met in year six and my friend Evelyn who I also met in year nine. I haven't seen Edith or Evelyn since maybe 1985 or even longer, when I left Darwin. It was just like old times ...we seemed to pick up where we had left off and just chatted endlessly. Cath and I see each other once a month at least, but it is so nice to have dinner with people where you can just be yourself. A really nice man on the table next to us took a pic of us all!Although next time I'll try not to go the back way to Norwood, as I kinda got lost...but that is a whole other story.
